Anyone ever hear of a quail diaper? My only quail left has been a house quail ever since the others died. My dd wants to keep it in her room.

I told her I dont think they make quail diapers but since they have them for chickens I guess ya never know. It's currently running around my computer and desk as we speak. She has no idea I'm typing about it and just said see it makes a great house pet.

I sent one of my blue copper hen's eggs with those OE eggs. The color was abismal I'm guessing because she's been broody and it was the first ehh she'd laid in weeks. But I checked her egg today and it was fertile. Man if that one hatches I REALLY want to see that baby! Talk about

I just candled my eggs from Sonew123 and every one of them has developed!

They go into the hatcher tomorrow so I have fingers crossed for some really cute fuzzy butts!

Well here is the box

They were packed so well....some may actually hatch. Put all the survivors in and will cross my fingers. If even one hatches....it was WELL worth the swap. I so love sonew's birds. Everyone keep your fingers crossed with me.

Sonew- meant to tell you that those "other" eggs--- one survived and it is pipped this morning when I went to work. You know how excited I am about that chick!!!

Forgot to tell you that during that incubation- severe storms knocked out power twice- 1st time my friend that lives around the corner was home and I used his generator. The second time it was for 6 hours (of course he was out of town) and I was trying to keep them warm with those hunter hot pocket things for your hands to stay warm. They actually didn't do to bad. It is amazing what we guys will do to save our fuzzies.
