Plus he has mowed some of my stuff over so he is banned from mowing the front yard....

He asks me to help him all the time but all I'm allowed to do is gather rocks! he does all the rest. He plants everything so specifically perfect...Drives me nuts. So when this swap started I thought what a great way to get tons of perennials and plant MY way!!

So far so good and he has said multiple times...Don't do that...this..or the other thing...I just look at him then my shovel and ignore him as he walks away shaking his head!

I have gotten feedback for and against changing the number of swaps so for now we are still at 3 swaps for the week.

I have gotten a couple of very valid points as the why we should leave the swaps as it is. One is everyone is allowed to do side swaps at an unlimited amount so if we run out of swaps and see something we want we can contact the member and see if a side swap can be worked out. The other was that we set the limit so everyone would get a chance to participate since some members do not have as much access to the computer or time to spend online and the limits is a good way to ensure that all have a chance.

We have more people finding the swap everyday so I would like to stay as we are with the 3 swaps for now and perhaps changing it in the future. With the new people joining in there will lots of new things offered and I want to make sure everyone gets their chance at swapping and getting some of the items they want.

As you all know, 3 swaps is not enough for me so I suffer with all the others that like to swap. We need to pace ourselves.

I did decide based on groundpeckers request that 8 swaps for new members with the restriction of sending their items before they can get their item was a bit much so I am changing it 4. New member will still have the 3 swap per week limit as everyone else.

It appears that everyone is following through with their swaps and I have not had to use our #2 post to list people who have not sent their items. If anyone is having a problem, please PM me and I will try to help by contacting the member. Once again if you can not send your items within the time limits, please contact the person that is receiving your item to let them know why and when you think you will be sending the item.

Have fun we are in a new week. Do I need that little guy that hides under the chair?

On a side note, I got my cute little bunnies for my grand niece yesterday. They are so cute and she will love them. I also received blackberry starts yesterday from a side swap. I am making choke cherry/peach jelly today and choke cherry syrup in the next few days. I hope they turns out yummy so I can offer some on the swap.

Your guys hubby sounds just like mine. So when I buy the plants or get them from swaps he has given up trying to tell me. He came over doing the exact same thing you guys said with a measuring tape and trying to replant my stuff. I told him to go bugger off and not to dare touch my plants I have them where I want. To go do some man thing this is a womans place.

He hasn't bothered me about where I plant or what I plant since.

No not my work. She does take commissioned orders, and there's a discount if you provide the sweaters yourself. It's broken into 4 payments.

My vegitables are laid out in evenly spaced maximum effiency beds, the flowers are clumps of pretty. Every time we move I put in both gardens.

DW mows over my mini Hostas along the edges of beds. Good thing she has been too busy to mow because she loves mowing.

Ann, I think there were some valid points brought upon both sides about the # of swaps allowed per week.
