Oh so cute!!!!

Can anyone explain to me, if a LF roo is over a banty hen, will the chicks be banties? What about the reverse? Banty roo over LF hens? Will they be medium sized birds or what?? I have a mixed flock and the girls are laying and the roosters are doing their rooster thing, although I don't think it works with the banty roo over the LF girls. Looks like their tails get in the way. Banty eggs are fertile. I'm trying to rehome the polish roo and will keep the Puddin' the banty roo. Eventually I'll have interesting (possibly hideous chicks) mixed eggs for offer.

it will work either way, they will figure out how to get around size difference it just take practice lol. I would be more worried about a LF roo on a banty hen, he could break her down depending on how much larger than her he is. I know I have some BOs that are monsterous in comparison to my witty banty hens. I imagine they will all be fertile. Also, as far as size, they will sorta be in between, I find that they arent quite tiny bantam size and not quite large fowl. So they are in the middle. MF (Medium Fowl) bwahahahaha

I have been kind of worried about the little japanese girl she's due to lay next. The polish is very aggressive but Puddin' leaves her and the d'uccle girls alone. The polish is not as chivalrous. I was kind of afraid that with him on top, the eggs might in some way be bigger and would hurt her. Fortunatly the RIR hens mostly keep him in his place with his two polish girls.

Yes, they are purebreed pyrenees. People don't realize that the markings show so much when they are young babes. The father Atwood is badger marked and Tulsa is pure white but the pups have all had some markings.

Here's a picture of the previous pups.

How much do you charge for those little beauties?

I got my hummingbird plaque the other day and my mother n law loved it. I hope our friends on the east coast are well. Since we're still trying to get our stuff moved to our new house and all the cleaning and finding things and finding a place for them it's hard to keep up with whats going on outside our walls here. It seems the work will never end. We're so exhausted and still have so much to do.
