I'd like them but I can't do them til the chickens are hatched. So very tempting too. Really really tempting. I wonder what he'd say if I needed a third bator.

My Quail are my best layers

I just sold 10 of them but hatched 8 more

checking fertility. Then my DD wanted button quail so hatched 13 of those phycho little buggers

Most will have go to the sale, she can keep a pair or 2. I just boiled up about 50 Quail eggs yesterday and fed them to the chickens. I cannot take any more Quail . Unless I get up the nerve to process and eat them.

But I can rationalize it really good. I don't want them to be too young heading into winter. Ahaaa, see! And it's like a waste if I don't get some quail since I've had an empty cage for a while now.
