[Stuck in the Coop]

Question for those who raise EEs - are pink egg layers very rare? I see mention of pink eggs but have never seen a bird who lays them. What a great addition that would be. I'd think you could sell those eggs easily.

on the high postage costs, I told my post master I'm just doing my part to keep our little office open

they are talking about closing several around me. None make money, and really why do we need post offices in every little burg most with populations less than 200 people? Our little county has 7 offices all within 15 miles of each other. Of course no one wants their office closed.

on the way to the po in a few, will be sending out Meepits bath salts and ReesePoultrys tea mix. Hopefully I can manage to pace myself now and join back in on swapping, I almoast got stuck with a 7 day work week, but I decided to call into my hotel job on account of all the electrical issues we are battling at home. Our main box in the house is bad, so all of our electricty is connected to drop cords that go to the main electric box outside, temporarily until we can manage to get the breaker box we took out of my dads old trailer in the house and hook it up... I swear it is always something....

MissRed, forgot to post I got the eggs this morning.

Unfortunately several were crushed or cracked. Its funny, the box looked perfect, they must have thrown it

I found a wayward green egg in there

it will be fun to see what hatches.

I have one duck egg left to hatch guess I will have to steel a couple babie musovy that hatcehd the other day under the muscovy hen to keep it company.
Also the mixed chicks im hatching is all part of my master plan to have a huge veriaty free ranging across my yard next year.Also to hae a huge mix of diffrent type of eggs except white as those all didn't make it

Guess I could get a few LHs from the small animal sale next spring.....
