Sonew what kind of bantams do you have? I used to have oegbs and a couple dutch and were the best layers I had. Laying right through winter. The dutch and oegbs I have now should start laying next month. They have been breeding for a few weeks now. I'm so hoping they do so I can get some cute banty eggs to make ornaments with.

you were supposed to get a batch of them but I had to send BLRW instead

I'll just sneak some in eventually and tell him I got the wrong eggs heehee. I am drooling over some of the fancy geese and really want a couple....or perhaps a swan or two. My pond is so far from the house, I doubt I could keep them alive

I am getting about 2 dozen eggs a day and I have about 200 birds

Someone PLEASE take some duck eggs.......

Oh yes I meant in chickens- My Blue swedish and Rouen ducks definitely were the better layers- Beat only by the Conturnix quail of course.

Oh i used to have a dark brahma bantam hen. They are gorgeous. I'm Ok with my blrw. Glad my son finally got one.
