I've had 18 out of 22 eggs hatch so far. I just took the first 14 out so they could eat and left the newest ones in there. One pipped thru a vein and was bleeding so I helped it out. I hope I got to it in time.

It's so strange when I put the eggs all in at once but it takes days for them to hatch.

I've got a variety of colors even a brown shipmunk stripe one. It came from a partridge egg and was the first to hatch. It sure is pretty. There are only 2 whites but several yellow ones with dark spots on them. I got some splash, blue and black and several have vaulted skulls. DH is gonna regret telling me to go ahead and just put the eggs that didn't sell in the bator.

The weather turned cold and the girls nearly stopped laying. One of my black hens went broody today and I only got 1 egg from the bbs pen, 1 from the partridge and 1 from the sizzle pen. I'm gonna have to have a talk with them. I have 3 orders to fill and one of my boxes of eggs didn't make it to their new owner so I need to send replacements.

I reckon I won't put up anymore auctions till they pick back up. Maybe i'll swap what I get as silkie and sizzles. IDK, we'll see.

I have the tail feathers from a wild turkey hen that my hubby got hunting today if anyone needs them for any thing.
