Here's some of my babies that hatched yesterday and today. The rest are still in the bator along with the rest of the eggs not hatched yet. I just snapped a quick pic before I put on the heat lamp and covered them up.

The yellow ones with the spots are partridge. The ones with out spots are white. The lavender looking ones are splash and then there are blue and black and one that is brown with chipmunk stripes. That one is partridge too. There are some that are partridge that are darker. I'm waiting to see how they turn out. There are alot with vaulted skulls. One of the yellow ones with spots has yellow feet. First time I had that happen.

So the other day when DH cut down those three trees and I hauled all that wood, we saw poison ivy vines but only little tiny leaves and we wore gloves so we figured it would be ok. DH is fine . I am not.Got it on arms and legs both and it is spreading. I may need to give myself a steroid shot :p

I just sent thru that. I had it all over. I just used the calamine lotion and took benadryl. I've never been allergic before but I hear things change as we get older. Now i've got these ugly scars on my arms. As if I needed more. Making cages and catching birds taht are in cages have really done a number on my hands and arms. I'm usually bleeding from somewhere when we move birds. We moved the quail to the other side of the garage where there are stall like spaces to keep them out of the weather. Although I didn't actually help move the cage that got me but I was bleeding before it was done. Never fails.

Oh, back to the itchy stuff. I had it in the palm of my hand even. My ankles to my chin. I don't know how it got everywhere like that unless it was from bathing then drying off with the towel.

When you scratch it, it seems to release the oil and it spreads. I am highly allergic to it. I had it so bad once I went to a walk in clinic and all the doctors wanted to look at me because it was the worse case they ever saw. I even had my eyes swell shut because I had it in my eyes , if you can even imagine! :p
