Not a single egg in 4 months.
But I did get my 1st 3 eggs from my SLP pen. SL rooster over 1 SLP hen & 3 WCB hens. 1 is already incubating & developing & 2 more ready to set today.

And no eggs from the BLP pen either. And I notice an abnormal amount of feather laying around their pen. So seems they got to POL and now are molting.

currently i have some EE eggs and some Japanese bantam eggs that i might post for sale.

my daughter lost the white jap hen that we got from a long time breeder. we lost the other white hen from the same breeder last year. paid a pretty penny for her. she was in a pen with one roo and 2 other hens. so my daughter is upset. it wasn't under 0 the night before. but i moved the heat lamp in that barn anyways incase it was the cold. i just have no idea what it was. maybe whites are not our color. all the others seem to do great.

are some varieties more susceptible to things like this?
