Congrats!

And lots of energy sent your way for the hours it will add to your chores. You must keep us updated with pics of the darlings.

You can either take two to bottle feed, or bottle feed to supplement moms milk. If you give all of them some from a bottle, they all end up very tame and also get the benefits of moms milk. I try to feed every two hours to start , then stretch it out as they get older. Good Luck!

Any tips on how to get them to drink supplement?? They don't seem to like the standard black nipple either. Open for advise.

In case any of you are interested, I am starting to take orders for my MF d'Uccles. Here is my listing.

Oh so tempting, they are really pretty. I vowed to stop adding new breeds until spring when I can build more fencing. I caved and snagged Polish eggs this week, but I'm weak like that.

Doubt you will have any trouble selling the beauties, especially at your great price.

I use regular baby nipples or the red ones they sell, i forget what they call them. Milk mama a bit and mix it with what you are feeding them. It takes a little while, but they will get the hang of it.That way they get colostrum too. Also, if you make baby nipple holes bigger so they almost drip a bit they get some easier. If they are all the same color, you can dab some food color on them to tell which is which.... And I take a bucket of hot water to set the bottle in if it cools off while feeding them.

I am going to try a regular baby nipple in a bit, we got the black nipples not knowing which ones to get so I will get the red ones tomorrow and try those too. We did by the kid colostrum to start them on tonight and tomorrow and then the kid replacer for after that.

I have seen all 4 nurse to that is a good sign and so far she is still caring for all four but we are keeping a close eye on that. Yes all four are the same color and all boys so food coloring we will probably do. Thank you for the help.
