Hi everybody, thanks for the kind compliments. The babies are all doing well this morning, even starting to bounce around.

We are still not in the clear as supplemental feeding is still slow and go but we will keep trying. Mama is doing great and is very attentive to all four, she is a great mom.

Wouldn't that be something if you ended up with 3 sets of 4 kids?!

You'd make the Guinness Book of World Records....or maybe a mention in the local paper LMAO Sounds like everything is going as well as it can....sending you more energy vibes to keep up with all the work.

My showgirl cockerel is limping. This is the 2nd time he has done this in 3 months. Last time I just confined him for a day inside and it went away. Guess I'll try that again as I can see no injury. Anyone have any advice about why he is doing this? He only started breeding the girls in the last few months, not sure on an exact birth<hatch> day for him, he is a spring 2011 bird.

Oh great , I was thinking about you and the babies! Did you try putting bigger holes in the nipples? When I get the red ones, I cut off that tiny tip that sticks out. Just wait, once they get the hang of it all, you will have to hang on to the Bottle so they don't butt it out of your hand! I had five bottle babies I fed at once , and I always fed them in order so they knew who was next, made it a little less crazy. So glad to be able to help a bit. I had 100 goats at one point :-D

My grandparents ( 2 boys & my grandma) used to own a goat farm and had to milk over 400 goats by hand then walk to school then after school they had to milk them again at night.

Then they downsized to 2 goats once they didnt have enough energy to do it anymore.

Well I dressed up to scare the tornados away last year. And it worked. You know how us southerners like to sit on the porch and watch the bad weather come in, instead of running for shelter. Plus I thought I would look my best in case the news crews came around. We have lost satillite and will probably lose electricity soon. We are under tornado watch. Sure hope it misses us and everyone else! PS. This is just a joke, ( I really DO NOT look like this) Tornados hate strong women in blue eye shadow. Hope it works again tonight!
