Darned if I know, I am so busy I wake up at night and think of things I should be doing. I did not have any hatch from the last batch, been having problems with humidity in the Hatcher. Just claimed your swap , thanks! Bunny is on her feet this morning.i may put her in the small front pasture, where no one has grazed so she gets fresh greens. Thanks for the well wishes, ladies. Oh , and I got my rug from Frank, thanks!

AND got those super awesome decorated eggs from meepitqueenie. I am in heaven. You are sooooo talented! Thank you for the extras. I am super excited, don't know if I can wait till Christmas. I may have to make a wooden display and a glass case to show them off year round!

I am sorry-I have been working on my quilt for the reunion this summer. I am just about finished sewing the blocks, and am hoping to get the top finished by Monday.

We are going back to Cinci tomorrow to the Creation Museum, so I won't get anything done tomorrow, but I found someone in Cinci who has a FREE quilting frame that we are supposed to pick up!

The brown eggs are the first eggs I got from my Orps this year.

I know you like surprises, so I thought I would throw them in there for you. I have a blue rooster over 4 blue hens and a black hen, so chicks will be blue, black, or splash. Here are my birds (pardon the mess of logs and lumber-scraps from the new chicken house and the fence we are working on):




My roo is just beginning to molt, and he got a little bit of frostbite this winter, but he is a gentleman and not aggressive at all.

I didn't know you had Orps.. I hope we can have a side swap in our near future for some Sebbie eggs.

Anytime! I just put the first four eggs in yesterday, so within a few days I should know if they are fertile.
