X2

Had a lot of catching up to do. Worried about Ray ~ hope he gets better soon! And poor Bunny, how sad to carry babies and then not get to love them.

Seeing y'all talk about Lav. Orps has me drooling! Had 2 Lav. Orp eggs in the last hatch, one got so far as a pip then died. I helped it sooner than I normally would, but it had already died. It was perfectly formed. broke my heart it didn't make it.

Took the pup to be neutered last week, he started coughing over the weekend...now my elderly lab is coughing.

he must have picked up kennel cough while at vets. The pup is almost over it, but Thor, the old dog, is just starting. I gave him warm honey and coconut oil with a syringe but he is still suffering. Any advice? Strange thing is the Corgi is not coughing...yet.

I received my Lav. Orp eggs from corancher today. They arrived in great condition and are at the moment resting!

Debi - the one Aracauna egg that made it to lockdown has hatched and waiting for his/her Ameracauna friends to hatch. They haven't pipped yet however there are lots of peeps in the incubator! Group pictures to come when they are done hatching!

hooray!!

Ray is home again. They couldn't get the medicine to regulate his rhythms so they scheduled him to be shocked back into rhythm (cardioversion) this morning. Then last night they added another med and it worked.

We got home this evening around 4:30.
He can't do much of anything for 3 months, so I have to cut back on these chickens. It doesn't matter though, they can make more babies when we are ready again. I am just glad he is home and that although he has to go through a lot of pain from the surgery, he has no heart damage from the blockages.
Thank you to everybody for the warm thoughts and wishes!. I don't know everybody, but knowing that people are praying and thinking about you really helps to make you feel better!
