I just got my first Call Duck egg today and my Mottle Cochin stole it (she is broody)

Can't wait to see if it hatches and get more eggs. I also just bought 6 call duck babies they will get here Tuesday.

Bhep, can you tell male/female at hatch? I ask because in the ebay link there is a photo of chicks and they have 2 different spot patterns on their heads.

Way off topic, but has anyone ever heard of these chickens? I was actually looking for nail polish when I got side tracked...

No...each is unique. I only have a pair and the hen is on strike.

I do have a few chicks I hatched. I just save up for a week or two and then stick them all in the bator. I sell them quick.
