I sell my adults around here for $3 ea and babies for $1 ea. just don't sell for much around here. Not sure if the price is different where you are.

Cot quail are hot here, if I had adults to sell I could make a killing!!! I keep my girls as we are pickling their eggs so not many new babies either.

So my day has been pretty long. Went to the store, went to get all the plants for our garden this year. Got ready to start the Goose runs. Father-in-law showed up and ignored me. He just turned his head as I talked to him and walked off. Have you guys ever had in-laws who hate you? Mine have since I married my husband. His mother even forbade anyone from coming to our wedding, so only my family was there. We have been married for 16 years. I am PMSing maybe, but I wonder when will this end. All I said to him was "Good morning! How is your day going?". I actually sat in the middle of the dirt and cried over this. Argh
But anyway, got some new runs started for my Dewlap Toulouse, and Sebbies. Got all the houses and runs cleaned. Danced a jig over my eggs in the incubator that are developing (I can see so clearly into the blue eggs! Alex? Beth?)
So anyone have in-laws who hate them, but a Hubbie who adores them? If so, how do you deal?

Are the blue eggs clear....like not developing?!?!?! They are from my oddball hen and BA rooster....trust me that little hussie should have fertile eggs.

Not clear at all. I am so tickled at how clearly I am able to see inside them. Shelby and I where talking about how cute they are. Not sure why, I just love the color of them! All of those eggs are developing! Every one of them. My incubator will explode with chicks soon, well soonish.

Aw man Im sorry..inlaws can suck! I have to admit though..i love mine..They are great people! But i ave seen some nasty ones! Why do they have this thing afainst you?

not really sure. They say I am stuck up. They blame me for any argument Hubbie has with them. We do not have anything to do with his mother, sister, neice, and great nephew b/c of abuse issues when our kids where younger. Also how they choose to live their life. I actually incourage him to be involved with his mother. Mothers are a bit irreplacable, and I know he loves her. His Dad, no idea really... Normally he used to talk to me all the time. We used to share chicken stories and chickens. He came over on my birthday, never said a word to me, ignored me when I talked. Never called my oldest on her birthday. Hubbie had to call him and ask him why. He showed up today with 30 bucks for her, and a Happy Birthday.
Hubbie dated a girl before me that they loved. LOL her picture is still on his mothers wall. I am just not sure why she dislikes me.
