Hubby did a head count today...
we've got... too danged many... LoL

16 hens & 10 roosters - (Bantams) .... which Beth says don't count but I will add them in anyway.
28 hens & 24 roosters - (Game Chickens)
14 - (Egg Layers)
5 - (Turkeys)
4 - (Guineas)
14 - (Pheasants)
17 - (Quail)
12 - (Ducks)
2 - (Pidgeons)

1 - (Nanday Conure)
170 - (Chicks in Brooders or Grow Out Pens)

Geesh! Somebody call for an intervention! Send out the paddy wagon, put me in a straight jacket and lock me in a padded room.... because I have lost my mind!

I'm always tempted to get one of these, I think people will take a double take and think it's a real chicken.
 
I have one...its 3 years old and I use it every year at the chickenstocks i go to...I usuLly run the 50/50s and use my purse to collect the money...then empty purse out put all tickets in it..shake it up and make draw winner out!!! :D

It looks like Patty and Alex should get eggs today and Natalie will get her eggs tomorrow. Pauletta should get her bags tomorrow too.
 
At one point I had a toucan and a monkey in the house. Of course, the monkey had her own bedroom. I used to raise hamsters to get my weekly grocery money. Oh , and I had a squirrel that I raised from a baby and she was afraid of trees but preferred to run up and down people.:-D i once raised caged birds and had hundred in my basement in flights and two upstairs bedrooms. And 13 show dogs. Poor DH.
Pauletta, In love my gift, you are a doll. Working on getting up the energy to redo my bathroom so they will be perfect there.
