 Well, since I see you here sonew, can you check this one and only lonely girl I got to hatch from you?  Remember?  You sent me some of your beautiful Ameraucana eggs, and, EE eggs.  Now, I can't remember if this hatched from one of your EE's or Ameraucana eggs.  She has slate legs, but realize, that she could have that come through as an EE..am I right?  She's beautiful, and ask me if I'm excited she turned out to be a she! 

  I see some pink coming, so hoping she will lay within a months time.

If it was from my beauty ameraucanas its a split lavender! She is pretty! Slate legs...yes...

Also if its an Ameraucana her egg will be pretty shiny comared to EE eggs...all my Ee eggs are pretty but...they are like a dull matte...not shiny;(

Ok, just becuse this has been a whaaaa??? day. I got SEVEN emails for the same 5 chicks  today. its the ONLY day I wont be home in the evening, and now 7 people want me to hold these **** chicks. they are all either gonna be at my door before they go off to work, or  not a single one will show, heh.

I have to talk some of these people into showgirls. why do they all want silkies and not  goofy fuzzy hillarious wonderful showgirls????

Who wouldn't want showgirls?! They are on the top of my need to have it list.

Btw everyone I'm Kat. You may have seen me pop in but now I can officially say I am a part of the swap!

Welcome, Kat. I have to admit, I like silkies (although my ONE silkie is smooth) and I like NN/Turkens, but I'm not a fan of showgirls. I'd take showgirls over a couple of other breeds, though. But, I tend to like big chickens, bigger the better. Just a preference thing.

Well, the incubators are rocking and rolling, seems weird to hear that humming sound again after nearly 6 weeks off! Seemed like longer....

Anyone that has hatched my eggs marked "Blue Sizzle"............ has anyone hatched a blue barred??? I have a blue barred naked neck chick that hatched under a broody (his/her mama) Rooster is a blue Polish.
I have to get some pictures up.

Oh, so waiting for that first egg! How soon do yours lay..or, guessing they are all different. But maybe there's a regular time you are seeing them lay. I will have to post her first egg. I am just so happy it's a girl.
