I was going to paint the letters on the toolbox and plant moss in it then have old rusty tools sticking out....like you never have to work on a Harley. I was making it for my husband but he saw what I was doing and said it was stupid so I just got rid of it

Had a very bad week so far. I lost 2 chickens on the first day of the heatwave and lost my only Bronze Peahen on the second day. Today (Monday) I went to take my little Emu girl out of the shed and put her in her large pen. I dropped her. I hit the side of the door and dropped her. She fell onto the metal feed pan on the floor. She broke her leg and unfortunately could not be fixed and I had to put her down. The Vet said some very nice things about her and said that this was the most painful thing she's ever done. It was her first Emu chick. She could not believe that the little one was not in shock from the leg. She said if she did not see the leg, she would've thought the bird was fine. I have been so depressed over this. If I did not drop her or left her in her cage she would be fine right now. I burried her inside her pen. I miss her so much, I cried all day. Here is her last picture at the vet's office:

And she will forever be here:

Yoda I'm so sorry! It hurts so very bad when we make these kinds of mistakes! I've been there a few times myself. It was a mistake, you can't change it, you didn't mean it, it wasn't done on purpose. So sorry. Cute emu, I've never seen them at that age with the face coloring. Glad you have a nice vet.

I am so sorry,she is beautiful,rip

What a beautiful girl she was, Yoda. I'm so sorry for your loss. I know how hard it must have been to put her down. I ran over my elderly dog's front leg. He had hip dysplasia really bad so the front ones were the good legs. After I backed over him he only had one good leg and had to be put down. I've also dropped a chick.

Yoda: Sorry for your losses.

Got my Lavender starts yesterday from Gabrielle. Thanks so much.

I also got my Rooster candle holder and the sharks from Anderson yesterday. Thanks so much.
