This group seems to be having alot of difficulties of late. I will add you and your DH to my prayer list that has everyone else from BYC on it. I hope you can find someone local to take over your projects until you are able to get back to them.

Gosh, you guys have all been busy in this heat! Hubby was back in the hospital. He had a heart attack. His bypass grafts didn't take and they can't fix them. I will be selling a lot of chickens. Now to decide who goes and if any stay. I just got the Lav and Partridge Silkies going good, the Lav Ameraucana just started laying. Don't know how to pick who I want to keep. So much work and energy put into them.
Aw, Debi, I'm sorry. I sure hope your husband's doctors find the right solution for him. Chickens are a lot of work, it is prob best to reduce the flock.
Bethany, Nice Orloffs! I saw some yesterday when I picked up those birds. Half of hers had nearly no white and the other half looked more like yours. Could have gotten a really pretty Orloff rooster for free but there's no more room here. I have 8 roosters now.
Jim, that NN welsummer laid a nice welsummery egg today! Terracotta with spots. Thanks!
Angel, I got my deco boxes and all those extras you sent, you rascal!
I will add some photos of the new birds to this post in just a bit.
Did everyone that got lavander from me get it in a semi unwilted condition. I shure hope it was alive enough to get starts from . From all I read lavander is pretty easy to grow from starts it just takes a few weeks.
