Well my husband is all Harley so that is why I took up chickens. I have to stay busy while he builds and shows the bikes. We don't sell them but we might if we ever get to the point we have to eat cat food in our old age. In this economy it could happen. Show your hubby this list and if he ever comes around harley stuff hollar.

I will print this out for him I have told him about my Harley chicken frind and he asks about you all the time LOL as soon as I get me a bike of some kind we might have to come visit, I am going to make him teach me to ride on the back of his LOL

Oh hey, baby steps are good. I started out with a Honda Ace 750. Yes a 3 wheel is super nice. A lot of our bikes have a left suicide clutch on the tank instead of foot. It's a lot going on when your a new rider. Here is my 71 Harley police Servi Car. Even though it has a suicide shift, you could handle this one!

That is hilarious! Imagine the chickens you could haul! I have to show Mike this pic. Girl you get what ever you want. As long as your feet are flat on the ground when seated you can handle anything. I have seen 100pound women driving Road Kings. Nuttin' but a thing jelly bean. Get you a bike and then take the ABATE safety course and you will be like a Shriner doing double figure 8s in no time.
this is all my husband thinks I can handle LOL

We got back from our 2 day vacation and it was 1 day too long. We enjoyed both days after they where over but it was so stinking hot on the 4th that is was unbearable. We had gone to Nashville to the Grand Ol Opry on the 3rd and on the 4th they where holding a free concert with several bands and it started at noon. We got there at 9 am to save our spot because at those things people always come late then push their way to the front. My brother and his family came down from Indiana and they have a disabled daughter that her only passion is music. So as everybody attempted to keep her from roasting we all where about to pass out from the heat. My brother has serious heart issues and his daughter has seizures so while everybody was trying to keep her hydrated and as cool as possible we where miserable. Somebody was always bringing bottles of cold water. I had gotten so hot I had to get out of the sun a while. I had already gone to the misting tent and soaked myself down. But when we where walking in the merciliess heat to find a place indoors that wasn't packed full of people we found another misting tent that had water pouring off one side. We had to wait our turn because we wheren't the only ones with it on our minds but we stood under the running water and got completely soaked. Then we found Jimmy Buffets Margaritaville restaurant and Bar. After being in there a while I started getting chillled. It was a nice change and when we went back we where actually able to endure the next couple of hours before the temp started to drop. We had walked forever it seemed way before that to find an umbrella to put over my neice to get the sun off of her.

The bands where great and the fireworks was the best i've ever seen. And of course there where a few people that thought they where gonna walk over my neice that was in a wheelchair and get in front of her. And of course we wheren't having that after what we had all been thru so she could have a spot right up front. Poor DH endured the pain of some cysts that came up under his arms. One of them busted this morning but he delt with the heat and pain for 2 days. Luckily when we got home the birds where all alive. I had left a cousin in charge of the birds and my grandsons and they aren't used to either as far as a 24 hour job. My oldest grandson was suppose to help with the birds and dogs. He disappointed me a great deal from the report I got from the sitter. But at least my birds are alive. Nobody looked like they suffered any. They where never without water but it did get hot for a while before it got changed.

I sure hope this heat wave ends soon. The next couple of days it's gonna be in the triple digits again.

I hope you all had a great 4th. We did enjoy it but the heat was an issue but take that out of the equasion and we had a fantastic time.
