You must have got all that rain that was supose to head our way. I am so sorry about your eggs but I can send you some FBCM eggs if you would like (FREE) sweetie.
That is always my fear, right when you have a bator full, something happens. I wish I had some Guineas for you. Maybe someone out there has extra eggs. Just PM me.

I have some already and more eggs in the bator.

Anyone heard from Marie? We just got our power back on after it went out Thursday afternoon. I think I lost all my Guinea eggs from the swaps, I am pretty sure all the funky eggs I got from Beth are gone too. Lowest temp the incubator got was 77.5. I only saw blood rings in 8 though, so maybe the last few are okay.... I dunno. I candled the Guinea's and there was no movement in any of them, and they got cold. So sad! Those were due to hatch Wednesday and they were a gift to my Husband from the kids for Fathers day.(
Lost all the freezer food we have been working hard to put up. The part that really griped my butt, besides loosing the food and eggs, was that the people on the main road had power. We could see it.
Since we run off well water the pump was out too. No showers... We had to buy water for the birds and to flush the toilets. DH is looking at generators.
Aw Angel!!! I'm so sorry!!! I wish I had eggs to send you. !!! nothing fertile here except 1 of 3 GLCs.

I need to do some side trades for Paypal or GFM.

Look at my swap page and Pm me if interested. I just updated my swap page.

Thanks guys!

Just really sucks...
The house got well into the 100's one day. I guess we are lucky we did not all expire. No rain, just 75 mile an hour winds on Thursday. Our garden is pretty much gone too, funny how fast those things can go down in the heat without water. Just got back from the store a minute ago, trying to buy us enough food for the week and replace stuff in the fridge. Oh and I will just say that sleeping on hardwood floors is aweful! I also would not even call it sleeping. We had to sleep with the doors open (I was terrified a snake would come in the house while we were sleeping), all of us in the living room. I was sarcastically thinking of writing a letter to the company that makes Lysol to thank them for making a product that gets rid of sweat smell fast.
I'll buy some more guinea eggs at some point. I was saving to buy some more SFH eggs so I will just use that money.

If my guineas lay this year I can send you some eggs free. I have 5 girls just hoping #6 is a boy.

Since when do we hope for boys right.

Alex, got the saddles the other day, thank you! However they will not work for who I originally wanted them for, my Exhibition orps, but not going to come close, I need some big enough to fit turkeys!! Here is how big they are, poor Biggie is hatin' this heat, looking forward to the coming week cool down.
