Nope...not going to fit ! I had Alex make me a BIG saddle for Abigail. Also heavy duty so Nehemiah didn't rip it.

Alex, got the saddles the other day, thank you! However they will not work for who I originally wanted them for, my Exhibition orps, but not going to come close, I need some big enough to fit turkeys!! Here is how big they are, poor Biggie is hatin' this heat, looking forward to the coming week cool down.

Hatched 19...I think !

Some are split to Lav. Some are HUGE split Lavs,. going to keep those and sell the smaller hens. I do know I only hatched 4 roosters (2 of each) .... can you believe that !!! Sold 1 rooster, will keep the other in case something happens to Nehemiah and keep the other 2 splits ( they are huge) for the split hens....ready for those huge Lavenders !!!

Actually noticed this afternoon that the bands are getting snug, so will be re-banding tonight when it cools down. I will have a accurate count. I will snap some pictures too !

I had my first Orloff sale today... A guy came to get 6 of them, but brought with him 3 silkies (2splash and one white) and a golden houdan chick. I couldn't resist and just traded 4 of the Orloffs since I don't have any silkies or houdans... Darn chicken math! You silkie people... Will I love silkies? Never had them before. Hope I didn't short change myself with that trade. My negotiating skills are horrible!
