Someone posts what they have available. Somebody says "mine" and then the only things available is what that person has? Then the next time that first person's stuff is available is when they say "mine" and offer again.

I got a fart egg out of one of my quail pens 2 weeks ago. It came from one of the hens that started laying recently. I first thought it was poop. My 4 year old grandson just had to have it. He showed it to everybody and was so careful with it. Then he was curious if it looked like a regular egg inside so he broke it open ever so carefully just to discover it did look like a regular egg inside. Yolk and all. He's so cute.

Ok, I have a request for a side swap. I'm looking for 3 of these toggle latch hasps. I need them to do the next step to making my cabinet incubator. Amazon.com has them but I can't log into my account to buy them. I can't even change my password. I get a message that there was an internal error to try again later. So if anybody can either buy them for me and i'll pay you or swap something. My silkie hens aren't laying very well at all. I get a paint silkie egg nearly everyday and a self blue hen thats with a porcelain roo lays occasionally. I"ve got 2 sizzle hens laying but I get plenty JB quail eggs although all of them aren't laying either. I get a BR turkey egg everyday. I could only send 4 of those since I only have 1 hen laying. I also have 2 orpington hens that are with a grey bearded silkie roo that are laying. I don't normally sell or swap their eggs because they are the ones that provide us with eggs for cooking. Their black orp roo died so I just put the silkie roo in with them for the heck of it. I really didn't want to sell him and I can't use him for breeding in the sizzle pen because he's related to several of the hens in there. The hens are one is black and the other is lavender. The other black hen is broody again. (lazy hen). Anyway if anybody already has 3 of these latches or is willing to purchase them for me I would be very grateful. I could do an IOU for them also. I found them for $3.18 each on amazon.com. I need 3 of them. Ebay has some latches. I dont know if you would have an easyer time with that sight. I would buy them for you but I just have no money I think I have like 3 dollers in my checking atm.
Your jb females lay large beutifull eggs even at the beggining.
I seem to remmber some sort of egg opener for quail eggs do you know anythin about that ?

I finally did it. I just ordered the APA SOP. I need to go through my grow out pens and see who makes the cut.

I actually found some at Lowes this afternoon. I checked their site and they didn't have any on there. DH was going to Walmart so I went along to check Lowes and I found them. They're already on the cabinet. Now the electrical stuff is left and thats DH's department.

I learned something today. How to run the table saw. All by myself too. I was home alone and needed to cut a board to spread the middle of the cabinet so it was straight. It had been sitting on it's side for a few months and bowed a little. After 3 tries I got the board the right length. Not bad for not being able to read a tape measure. lol

I checked Ebay first then Amazon. I was actually looking for some that are like one that is on an old Bailey's can that I use to hold straws. It's made of wire but I couldn't find any like that so I got some like what would go on a wooden box.
