I got my swap eggs from cjwaldon today - all in perfect shape. Thank you! Have you hatched any of these eggs yourself? I wonder what they will look like - hopefully I'll see in 21 days.

The pure NJs will look like this (this is a male, the females don't have any white on the back or as much white on the head)




The CCL X NJs will look like this (my most recent hatch had some with white on the back, time will tell if those are the boys. If the CCL/NJ chick down markings/colorings hold true to NJ chick down markings, then this would be a pullet, but I just don't know yet so assume at this time the mixes are not autosexing)

Great pictures - it will be interesting watching them feather out and see if there is a correlation between the down markings and their gender.

It would be fun to make a mystery swap for things other then eggs though....
