Somebody dumped this little cutie off near our house. We live on a busy 2 lane highway that leads to the famous Reelfoot Lake. She could have been ran over easily. She's blind in one. She is such a sweetie too and she has no interest in my chickens which is what won her a new home here. After I wormed her and taught her that dog food is what the dogs eat here she's doing just fine. My grandson named her Rosa.

Wow! She looks very cute and sweet.

I hate to say this... but... does she have a white ring in her good eye? It looks, in the picture like she does. I hope not but it looks like it. If so, she may go completely blind. Not that it matters, I just wanted to give you a heads up so you'll be ready for it. This may be why she was dropped off. I'm sure she would still be able to get around and have a pleasant life.

I have a Guide to Natural Health for Dogs & Cats. One thing they mention for cataracts is eucalyptus honey. Application is simple. They say put a small dab on the blunt end of a toothpick and and place it on the inside of the lower eyelid once per day for several weeks. The cataract has cleared but not gone totally away. But if it would help her be able to see better/longer, it would be worth it. I don't know if you can get this product there or even how much it costs but using only that much per day, a small container would last forever.
