Tempting. Just not sure about the Cortunix. I keep thinking I need to stick to the breeds I have. What color on the Guineas? Are the Ameraucana bantam?

I already have 2 things that are getting shipped out tuesday. I have to wait till the end of the week before I can handle paying for more shipping. I would love to have gotten those plants though. I have an empty pot just for those little round ones. We call them hens and chicks around here. Maybe they will get offered later this week.

I know that someone has already taken an item but just to answer your question it was for 2dz of the flowers. Photo is just a representation

This looks like a LOT of fun!! I really want the guinea eggs, but I am really not sure if I have the hang of it?

I went through the first few pages, but it gets overwhelming quickly! Ok...I get that if I want the eggs, I post "Mine". Then I offer something up. What if no one takes it? Do I have to have sent something before I receive it? What if no one wants my offers? If I offer something, how long do I wait before rescinding the offer and posting something new? Are we doing priority on perishables (plants/eggs) only? I get the DC part. I ship a lot of plants, so I'm familiar with that.

Ok. I figure that's enough questions for now!

Shelly

You are allowed 3 swaps per week (Sun through Sat). If you have been a member of BYC for less than 6 months your item isn't shipped until confirmation that you item is shipped with a confirmation number. If your item is not taken in 6 hours try adding other items. It is a judgement call if you should add to your offer sooner or rescind you offer (as long as your item hasn't shipped yet).
Hope this helps.

Here is what I have to offer:

These are Blackberry Lilies (Belamcanda Chinenses). They are hardy to zones 5-10. They like full sun to part shade. They aren't picky. Since they are members of the iris family, they will grow anywhere irises do. However, I've found they transplant much easier and bloom the next year! The seedheads look like blackberries and when they dry, you just pick them off and save for next year. They also propagate by tubers like iris.

I took this picture just now, outside my front door, so this is exactly what you'll be getting. I will send several divisions. These are hard to find in stores. You usually have to mail order.

Thanks!

Shelly

mrheinz77,

Thanks for answering my questions! One other thing...the 3 swaps, is that sending, receiving, or a combination of both? I hate to take up the thread with my questions, so if someone would rather inbox me, that's fine.

Thanks again,

Shelly

I would like to claim those flowers but you have to accept the current offer before you can post what you have. And as for myself, I won't be able to mail what I offer till later this week.

Shelly you need to state that you're taking the eggs that are the current offer and then offer your lilies and how many youre going to offer for the swap to continue.
