Not all hatch out naked neck. Out of 10 you might get 1 or 2 naked necks.

But there is a sexlink rooster running with them too. I have seen him get on my new girls that lay nothing but green eggs.

That's ok I would just wear blinders until I sold them Knowing me I would probably fall in love with the ugly little buggers and have to build another coop

He is over ameraucana/EE hens. Some hatch out looking like silkies with the 5 toes and feathered feet. I just hatched out 5 and only 1 was a naked neck and they were black and splash ones. They all have 5 toes and feathered feet.

My NN Love Story

i thought the same way until our son went and bought a nn chick at the feed store.of course he did it knowing i did not like them.
well that little chick was the sweetest little thing.id hold it and rock it on the pourch swing and it would fall asleep on my chest.
she is still by far my favorite LF chicken.full of personality and totally touchable.
after awhile you dont even notice her ugliness just pure cuteness ansd sweetness.
sounds wierd but she,Fred, caught my heart.

felt the same about bantams but of course I have a MGB fetish too
