...have slate legs, a single comb, are the same size a an orpington, and could come from Meyer? (female layer asst.)

I know I have one andalusian- she's small, and had the slate legs from the start. Now I have 4 other girls- legs are getting darker every day, and one has sprouted a black tail feather.

They don't offer BBS rocks or Orps, and Delawares and Columbian Rocks are supposed to have yellow legs.

Any ideas?

Could be a splash andalusian?? Splashes sometimes have a creamy down color.

Well- I'm pretty sure the small one is a splash, as I have a black one too. But the 4 others are much bigger. I didn't get any blue chicks- odd if they sent me 6 andalusians and not one blue- I'd think.

I ordered an assortment from Meyer and got 5 yellow chicks with slate legs also- like the chick on the right.

Oh too cute! I thought of that too- at first I assumed they were rocks or leghorns, but the legs and that one black tail feather....
