I'd go with the green salad because I don't know what the other one is.Made some great Italian beef today for tomorrow's dinner. I'll allow the broth to sit in the fridge overnight and take the fat off in the morning.
We are having a couple over for dinner that we are just getting to know and they seem to be very basic country dinner folks, based on the couple potluck dinners we went to at their place.
I don't do potlucks at my house, so I am preparing the whole menu. I always do. The menu is Italian beef (sandwiches or just beef), air fried potatoes (but think Emeril Lagasse style), Tuscan stuffed mushrooms and Insalata Caprese. I'm thinking the latter may be a bit different for some people and I'm considering replacing it with a green salad, or just adding a green salad.
So, I'm here asking the opinion of the experts. That's YOU.One salad? Two salads? Which one?
P.S. Fresh strawberry pie for dessert.![]()
Excellent. Thanks so much!!!I'd go with the green salad because I don't know what the other one is.
You're welcome. I would probably look up more country down home meals for a couple like them. I'm more of a "let me see I have tomatoes, squash, peppers, onions, garlic, green beans and potatoes. Let me make a big ole stew.Excellent. Thanks so much!!!
