Whatcha Making for Supper?

It's our anniversary, so we are going out to a nice pub and bistro, The Shire. They serve gourmet dinners, but the menu is small and changes all the time, so we'll find out what we're having when we get there.

Making the Chile Verde today because I don't want the pork to sit in the fridge another day. We'll have it tomorrow and it will be better than fresh made. It's one of those dishes that gets better when it sits.

30 years. We were married a little later in life. Not our first. But I think we got it right this time. :love
Some are lucky first time around, some get lucky later, some never do. Our grandkids ask, "How do you manage to stay with one person 60 years?" I tell them, "When you find that one person you LIKE more than any other you've ever met, don't let them get away."
