The grocery store had a good sale on ripe avocados so I want to enjoy them as much as possible while they last.

I love avocado but didn’t consider horseradish as a good thing to go with. Will definitely give it a try. BTW, if you lived here you’d have avocados year round

Neither am I. I find them to be at best 'edible'.

Last night I fixed teriyaki steak, and Asian inspired cabbage salad and leftover rice. It all looked so good but the taste was so disappointing! After all the shredding, dicing, mixing of marinade and shaking of dressing etc...I did cook the meat itself ok, medium rather than the medium rare I aim for, but it just didn’t taste right.

A few pretty grill marks are nice but they can’t overcome a meh marinade. The two of us did eat the whole thing however.

It looks delicious! I hate it when I go to all that work and the results are meh.
