It takes a few years before you can harvest. Hardest part is the waiting.

Is it hard to grow?

If you can buy roots you save yourself from waiting an extra year! It will grow that year but you just leave it alone until fall. When it turns brown cut it down. Thr next year it should be thicker (I’ve read to wait another year but I picked just a couple to try) and let it grow out again til fall. The following year you can pick daily for two weeks, and after that as much as you want!


Tonight we are having all beef hotdogs and a falafel salad.
