Whatcha Making for Supper?

Ooh, what do you like in the way of meat substitutes?
I like most Morning star products, and Gardein has good stuff too. I'm always up for some tofurky if I can find it here. :)

I cannot stand Boca products, nor does any of the newer Morning star almost meat stuff appeal to me. I don't like it to taste like meat or have that gnarly texture.

There's also Field Roast brat, smoked apple sage, I love those too.

We had the rest of the kraut and Dumplings. Tomorrow it will be Mac and cheese because we watched Carnival Eats last night and the theme was Mac and cheese. :drool

I watched that too. I may have to try and make it from scratch......someday. It looked very yummy.

The Mac and cheese grilled cheese sandwich made me so happy and hungry.

One quiche going in the oven for supper. I left out the mushrooms since my son hates them.
I used 3 duck and 3 chicken eggs, spinach, bacon, queso quesadilla cheese and 1/2&1/2.
Straight up I didn't think it was all going to fit in the shell.

My hubs said he would try it......don't worry he hates change which means more for me.

Quiche is out, cooled, and 2/3rds eaten. First quiche I ever made or even tasted. I think it came out decent.

I figured hubs would not like it. He fights anything new.

My son and I on the other hand were not disappointed obviously.
