A friend of mine in FL used to swear her donkeys were better guards than her dogs. Do you find that to be true?

My old momma donkey was a better guard than her 2 boys. They are hit and miss. They keep the predators out of the shed, but not always out of the pasture. They are getting old, so maybe they are semi-retired?

First time in a long time I had sliced chicken meat sandwich. From a store. Not my own flock. Was good with ranch. I like this thread title. Is it dead or am I doing good by keeping it alive? I'll probably start my own similar one if this one fades out.
