Whatcha Making for Supper?

What's it made of? Grass? Green chilies? Peas? I guess I live in a bubble and I haven't heard of green chili. :pop What makes it green? Green tomatoes?

Tomatillos and green chilis is what I know of. And what I've eaten had pork in it instead of ground beef. Green chili is popular out west here, it wasn't ever anything I saw growing up in the midwest.

Maybe @21hens-incharge would share her recipe?

It is made of green chili's, pork, red tomatoes, chicken bullion, garlic, water, salt and pepper.
Apparently the chili peppers are not carried out east or up north.

Hang on I am looking up the chili peppers I use.....

1 24 ounce pakage frozen green chilli peppers
4-6 cup water
1 16 ounce can diced tomatoes
2 Tablespoons minced garlic
1/4 cup chicken boullion (I use knorr)
1 pound seared diced pork (traditional uses pork butt roast I use pork loin)
1 teaspoon of salt
1 teaspoon pepper

If freezing some do it before thickening.
Simmer all ingredients 1-2 hours then bring to boil and thicken using a roux or corn starch.

Super easy and I have won chili cook offs with this recipe.
