Whatcha Making for Supper?

The texture is different from other heritage breeds and it matures about a month earlier. It took 4 months for my other heritage breeds to reach 5 lbs. Its superior because of the texture, but it still taste like chicken.

If you lt the bird sit in the fridge a few more days get fall off the bone tender Old hat at that part .. Before that it was Ma or Grandma

Oh that’s great! Do you think the Bresse is a superior eating bird then? I’ve been very interested in them. Your cooking setup looks top notch!

The color of the dark meat is darker, reminds me of duck meat.

Picked up two 4# corned beef from wholepaycheck. Yeah, they were pricey, but looked great and figured bidenbucks could cover it. Will pick up some taters, carrots and cabbage later. Maybe even some corn on the cob.

Our fridge is full of leftovers. We're noshing our way through them today and starting fresh with something new tomorrow.

Okay maybe add carrots but doing tri tip steak no one is that thrilled here with corned beef so heck why bother have the rest in the compost

Using those bidenbucks to get the plants this year- may spring for a couple of expensive ones.

For supper tonight, gonna have Tuna salad sandwiches with Fritos. Maybe will get back to cooking something good next week.

Corned beef, carrots, onions, and potatoes in the crock pot. We don't do cabbage so I will do saurkraut instead. It's making the house smell so good!
