Whatcha Making for Supper?

The texture is different from other heritage breeds and it matures about a month earlier. It took 4 months for my other heritage breeds to reach 5 lbs. Its superior because of the texture, but it still taste like chicken.
If you lt the bird sit in the fridge a few more days get fall off the bone tender Old hat at that part .. Before that it was Ma or Grandma
 
Picked up two 4# corned beef from wholepaycheck. Yeah, they were pricey, but looked great and figured bidenbucks could cover it. Will pick up some taters, carrots and cabbage later. Maybe even some corn on the cob.
Using those bidenbucks to get the plants this year- may spring for a couple of expensive ones.
