Whatcha Making for Supper?

I'm thinking frittata and salad for tonight.

The girls have really kicked the egg laying into gear, time to use up some eggs!

Scratch that!

I got to prospecting in the fridge and found all the makings for French bread pizzas...spicy Italian sausage, mushrooms, bell peppers, some leftover marinara sauce, Mozzarella cheese. And the bread of course.

Deee-licious!

I had a pot pie as well. I'm starting to think I might have a problem. 🤫
I have the same concern for here, so easy and delicious!
It was better than I thought it would be, Marie Callender brand.
Not too salty, nice chunks of meat, and the pastry was pretty darn good too.

Be careful. They call to you from the depths of the freezer. Beware the song of the siren. Her name is Marie Callender.

I'm buried in eggs. I hate the spring surge.
Making tuna salad tonight.
I am experimenting with water glassing- where you store extra eggs (clean, unwashed) in pickling lime and water. They are supposed to last up to18 months. I only need them to last through the winter egg drought. My hens usually stop laying at the end of October and don't start again til February. With all the holiday baking and cooking, I use a lot of eggs through that time. Right now, I have 6 dozen eggs preserved and will start on the next jar Monday - there are about 3 dozen per gallon jar). Hopefully, 12 dozen will help see me through the winter.
