Just had pulled pork I started smoking this morning with polk salad with scrambled eggs.

Homemade chicken soup. A neighbor gave us a couple of roosters that she didn't want so we had roasted chicken for supper yesterday and I used the bones and whatever was left of the meat to make a nice stock for soup today. My kids will be sad, but they're going to eat it!

Our kids used to be like that over the weeks worth of turkey soup I made after every Thanksgiving.

My kids are just dramatic. I probably only make soup once every two weeks and they still act like it's the end of the world.

No, they're all surprisingly gung ho about that. When I made the baked chicken the night before, they were eagerly asking me which chicken they were eating.
They just don't like the taste of broth very much. I didn't either, when I was a kid, but we always had canned soup, not homemade.
