I thought the pounded and breaded pork loin was just called schnitzel. That's what my recipe calls it. Think maybe they mislabeled it?

I looked online (when all else fails) and this recipe has the authentic name of schnitzel, Schweineschnitzel. Just to make it even more confusing. lol

The chain is not really German food. It's a hot dog stand. At least in California it is. It's called Der Weinerschnitzel.

I meant the picture was German food.
Until I clicked the other post with the link to the hot dog chain, I had never heard of that chain. Not even in commercials.

Schnitzel can be any breaded meat.
Wiener just means of Vienna.
