Whatcha Making for Supper?

Breaded?
What do folks in the PNW usually fry up? It's breaded perch or walleye in my neck of the country.
I'm breading tilapia. I have not decided if it will be bread crumbs or batter. We like it both ways. Leaning more toward the fish and chips style. Normally I would use cod for that, but this is what I thawed. Some people here use halibut, but it is an expensive fish, so I prefer to cook that differently.

Never heard of walleye, except on here from time to time, and I don't see perch in the stores. I think we had that in CA, but I'm not sure. I didn't cook a lot of fish then.

But, to really answer your question, the main fish of PNW is salmon of various varieties and steelhead. We just don't bread or batter that.

Thanks.
I was more curious about your breaded fish. I know salmon is big there. Unbreaded of course ;)

I made a Vietnamese salmon thing years ago to represent Seattle cuisine.
