Whatcha Making for Supper?

Tonight I'm making that Turkey TetREEzini recipe @ValerieJ posted. Mostly. No olives and the addition of carrots. I'm making a half lasagna pan's worth.

Everything is messed in place and the pasta cooked. It's only six here. Too early to eat yet.

Almost forgot. The local store did not have a brick of Monterrey jack. The goofballs. So I'm using a brick (1/2c) of Colby jack, with includes Monterrey. It tastes pretty bland anyway, but the orange tint might be different 😳
It's going to be great!! Colby will work fine. I used my Dutch oven because I could take it directly from the stove to the oven. Worked well.

I'd say you eat like a bird, but I think it's more like a rabbit
You eat a LOT of salads.

I love salads, but am too lazy to make them very often. It there ain't a flame under it, it doesn't feel like I'm cooking ;)
I have found that eating in the evening doesn't work well for me. I eat a big brunch every day. On special occasions and when I make something I love, like crab cakes or Pho, or when I have company, then I eat dinner.

I make a salad every evening. That might sound boring but I make really great dressings and we both love salad. DH has one with his meal.

Cool. It's nice to have a plan/schedule.

When I was a kid I always saved my salads for the end of the meal and never ate dessert. Unless I was someplace I was expected to eat the salad first.

I went back for seconds :)
