Like smash taco burgers, but with loose meat like a taco. These got folded up like a taco with hamburger ingredients inside.

I saw a recipe a couple weeks back I've been meaning to try. It's a tomato tart. I just got back from picking up the maters. That will be for dinner.

For lunch it's a smash burger and some rice and succotash from the other night.

Those look pretty close to mine. I use "loose" ground beef too. Not a patty.

Yeah, the patty smashed into the tort must have been a tic toc thing
It was tough to get the other stuff in there. Loose would have been better.

I made a tomato tart I saw on yt. Just gotta pop it in the oven when I'm ready.
I'm also going to have a thin slice of ham and smashed potato.

Did you guys prep anything in case anything happens to knock out power?
I did a family pack of hamburger meat, and 1 pound of sausage.
I also have chicken already cooked for soup.
All of those can be warmed up on our propane camping stove.

The grocery stores around here are not running out of Bread & Milk. They're running out of Bottled Water, cans of soup and the 5gal Propane tanks!

The dollar store had a sign they were out of propane. We didn't go for that. Hubby was going to get gas for his gas can, but we forgot it The water was pretty low, and I didn't look at the soup.

Because of the impending storm we went out for our 'anniversary dinner' tonight. I had tomato/ham/bean soup and salmon/butternut squash/something that looked like Bok Choy, and the Princess had a Caesar salad and shrimp/scallop risotto.

Good in theory...

But soggy pastry crust. Small wonder with all the liquid tomatoes have. Unless I missed a step.

But it was tasty.
