Whatcha Making for Supper?

I am always mystified by the "eww leftovers" crowd (my mother-in-law is one, thankfully one thing my husband did not carry out of his childhood, lol) - leftovers are the best, especially when you can repurpose them into a whole "new" dish/meal --- cook once and eat for days!!!!!

Potato planks? Do tell........
Yeah, we only eat leftovers if they can be repurposed in a whole new meal, or frozen for another dinner some time later. Even with that, when DH says the blessing, if I have pulled it out of the freezer, he will say "and thank you for this meal, even though she didn't have to prepare it tonight.." lol He's definitely not big on leftovers, but he always says it's fine, and then goes and tattles to God. lol I always say, God doesn't cook. Just thank Him for the provision.

@muddy75, for Northern California we skipped spring so it's summer here.
Lucky you. I would miss watching all the birds, ducks and geese coming back, but would love to be done with all the rain.

I started the stuffed lamb burgers for tonight.
I messed up and added an egg like for meatloaf. No wonder they were so moist forming.

My fingers were too messy to take a pic of the feta cheese between the patties. But it's there ;)

I ended up making a triple decker (tripwich) grilled cheese with tomato soup with milk instead of water in it. VERY yummy.

But then I also cooked the rest of the burger I had because it needed to be cooked and I just made that plain with no seasoning or anything and added a jar of garlic and herb pasta sauce to it. I think it needs some more meat in it but my dad will probably eat it because I’m moving tomorrow. But it needed to be cooked. But yeah.
