Whatcha Making for Supper?

I call them Planks it sounds better than Big Fat Fries. I saw a recipe for something like them years ago and I changed the recipe around and made it easier.

Oven is at 450°
I clean raw Potatoes and leave skin on. I cut it in half lengthwise, then I cut each half 3 times lengthwise. I put oil on a cookie pan (with sides) and I rub the thick (planks) slices of Potatoes in the oil. (Both sides) Then I sprinkle Onion Powder, Garlic Powder & Paprika on the top side. After 10 minutes or so I turn the planks over and season the other side and repeat. Cook the Planks until they are tender. Don't over cook they'll get REALLY hard.

Sometimes I cook a Steak or Pork Chops in the same pan while the Planks are cooking.

I do something similar on the grill.
I call them wedges because of how they are cut.

Homemade pizza tonight! For most people pizza is all about the topping, but as I've mentioned before, it's all about the crust for us. So this dough was started on Wednesday and went through a double fermentation process. So excited to try it. Toppings will be simple, one pepperoni and one veggie. Both will have fresh mozzarella, homemade sauce and fresh basil.
