I have never tried divinity but Hubby likes it so I wanted to get it for him.

it is a confection candy that is white with walnuts or pecans. i didn't say pecans cuz sometimes they r not available here to buy at certain times of the year,lol. i like it made with either but my fav is pecans. most people can't make it it's very hard to get the recipe right so it usually comes out thick like a white fudge. i can make it myself but it comes out way better if both of us make it together.

now a days it is made like fudge but it is suppost to be it is to be made the old fashioned way so it is light and velvety smooth almost like a marshmellow fluff texture to it, like grandma used to make. we make it every year for our families and it gets gone first,lol. if u have ever seen the movie the lion, witch and the wardrobe there is a part in it a kid is eating it if that helps any.

I love to make divinity and I live in the middle of pecan heaven lol! I'm allergic to walnuts anyway, so it works for me!
