LOL, had to go check the mail.. I have all kinds of breeds, most of my roos are EE, I have BO, Barred Rock, EE hens, black beauties, a bunch of mutts, silkies, frizzles, NNs both banties and standards... These are all running together right now. Jenn
 
I have never had quail and I don't know what they look like or what to do with them !!!! I did hatch 3 pheasants and I bought 13 guineas. I really would like to try a turkey or 2 .
 
Here are some pics of my quail. If you are in an area that will get below 50 degrees at any time then you need to have an indoor aviary for them. They are so much fun. I have 20 right now and my hubby actually told me to get more eggs so that I can deversify our little flock. They make little noises once in a while but are not as noisy and common indoor birds. They are pretty fun to watch too. Jenn

For those who are interested in buttons I will give you as much advice as possible.
 
They are so cute !!!!! But It does get colder than that in Georgia . and I am not up for birds in the house all the time. Bbay chics for 5-6 weeks is long enough. Thanks for the info.
