I think they can get pretty big. I saw Les Stroud eat them on Survivorman.

The size depends alot on location. From what that link said they can get huge. I had a big one when I was growin up in central Louisiana, it got about 4 ft tall and 6-8 ft wide at the height of the summer. They may die completely back during the winter, but are very rapid growers and come right back. You can also start new plants by just putting one piece in dirt. I have a couple in pots on our deck right now because we plan to move in a few weeks.

Mine on the prickly pear cactus and I offer up:
your choice of 2 ( 8 oz. )

Homemade by me :

Cinnamon Oatmeal milk bath 8 oz.

Vanilla Milk Bath 8 oz.

Cherry milk bath 8 oz.

Magic Fruity Bath salts 8 oz.

Bath Cookies (cherry ,vanilla, dreamsicle or citrus scented)

I'm new to the forum and just found this swap. What a great idea!
I have tons of perennials including daylilies and hostas that could use dividing~~~~
and I've recently come down with 'bator fever, so----

If anyone wants to do a side trade for hatching eggs later in August please let me know! I can send pics of what I have---I probably have close to fifty daylily varieties and about 30 hostas. plus herbs, grasses, etc.

PM if interested and thanks a bunch!!

I want the bath yummies!!! LOL I will PM you with what I want...

I will offer 6 mixed eggs. Here is a list of what breeds I have, although I will send eggs from whoever is laying right now. (Got a few that are just determined to go broody!)

Roos:

White Frizzled Cochin
Black Austrolorp
Buff Chantecler (just at breeding age...but not sure if they are breeding yet)
Red Cochin Bantam (same with him)

Hens:

Blue Ameraucana
(2) RIRxEE
EE
SIlver Spangled Hamburg
Partridge Silkie

Also have these hens who should start laying any minute...

Black Austrolorp
Partridge Cochin
EE
2 Buff Chanteclers

I can either send them out asap or if you'd like to wait until the austrolorp and chanteclers start laying, I could wait and send them then so you could have pure ones.
