I don't think most people mean to be purposely rude. We just have to remember that all we see are typed words. We don't get the tone of voice and facial expressions that would normally help us understand what someone is saying, so what would come across totally different in person comes across as rude or short in writing. At least I hope that's what's going on...I like to think the best of people until they prove me wrong
