She not a Black Sex Link, I have them look at my Avatar. She looks like An OEG pullet, I have some that look like her except mine are nasty tempered little witches. I say if she is a calm bird keep her. Egg color is just that, the color of an egg.

Shes a mixed breed for sure. Probably some oeg in her.

I know she's not a Wyandotte because her comb is to tall. She definitely has some Welsummer in her and is probably mixed with something else somewhere along the lines. She looks just like one if you ask me. If she's a sweet hen, why don't you want her? Did you just want her for breeding stock or for the brown eggs??? I'm sure you're disappointed about paying $15 for something you thought was a pure breed. My nephew bought a White Leghorn layer off of a farmer and she lays brown eggs for him everyday.

She looks just like the other White Leghorn hens he has, just lays brown eggs! If she's not breeding stock and you don't just eat brown eggs, I'd keep her! If I was closer I would take her in a hear beat! I think she's beautiful!

Poor thing, I'd take her if it wouldn't take $600 in gas for me to pick her up. Somehow I doubt my DH would go for that.

I'll take her. She's a good looking lady. She'll have company in the next few weeks and will be top hen.... I live in Orange County and can pick her up in the next few days after work.. She'll be pampered and loved.
